Midrand:

Midrand is an area in central Gauteng Province, South Africa. It is situated in- between Centurion and Sandton, and is part of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality.

The city is relatively modern, having experienced much growth in the last decade. Many businesses have relocated there due to its proximity to good highway links and its location in the economic centre of Gauteng Province

Midrand has the largest conference centre in South Africa which is known as Gallagher Estate. This suburb has the largest single-phase shopping mall built in Africa calle “The Mall of Africa”, is located in the beautifully developed Waterfall City precinct of the town. It is now also home to the new head quarters for several multinational companies like, Auditing-Finance company PWC, Accenture and major corporations such as Vodacom, Microsoft, Neotel. This suburb is closer to all educational institutions.
